Republicans (and Democrats): Former Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger -- with a little help from his close Republican friend -- wrote, campaigned, and passed the "death-of-political-parties" in California … Proposition 14. The stable election process that has long been vital to all of us in the electoral system is now gone. Poisonous Proposition 14 now makes likely unknown untested politicians run against each other.
The increased risk of this kind of "mob rule" by the strongest celebrity is important to every voter in California. Republicans are more vulnerable than ever.
Why did former Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger do this? One answer might be former First Lady Maria Shriver (Kennedy) Schwarzenegger's anger toward Republicans. Former Governor Schwarzenegger's Democrat wife never once stood by Republicans at any event in the many years Arnold Schwarzenegger held his office.
Furthermore, former First Lady Shriver (Kennedy) forcefully "grabbed" Governor George Deukmejian's 1985 non-partisan Women's Conference and turned it into a personal forum of her own for left-wing Democrat women who share Lady Shriver's political views. Insulting the State of California upon her exit as First Lady of California, she dismantled the Women's Conference to protect her audience.
Goodbye Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver (Kennedy) Schwarzenegger. Regretfully, both of you will be tragically remembered.
